World of Wood focuses on Lacey Act compliance

The 61st World of Wood annual convention, hosted by the International Wood Products Association, will feature a panel focusing on Lacey Act compliance solutions.

World of Wood is scheduled for Apr. 5-7 at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco.

The panel, “Lacey Compliance: Strategies and Solutions,” will feature leaders from companies from different segments of the wood products industry that have implemented compliance strategies tailored to their business model.

The discussion will be led by Sam Witten, an attorney from Arnold & Porter, and feature Hugh Reitz of UCS Global, chairman of IWPA’s Due Care Education Committee; Brian Glick, who focuses on trade compliance at Vandegrift, and Elizabeth Baldwin of Metropolitan Hardwood Floors.
