Weinig names new general manager

Otto Leible took over this month as general manager of Weinig Concept GmbH & CO. KG. He is the successor to Uwe Motzkau, who left the company April 30.

Leible, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, is experienced in the project business of the woodworking industry. From 1992-2003, he worked in several leading positions for the manufacturer of sawmill technology Linck in Germany and France. Since 2003, Leible was the general manager of Springer France SAS in Obernai, France.

"We are convinced that we have found with Dr. Leible a very qualified general manager and personality with a lot of experience in engineering projects in the woodworking industry which enables him to lead our concept engineering company", CEO Wolfgang Pöschl said in a statement.

The engineering company within the Weinig Group specializes in realizing projects conception, financing, set up and finish with professional commissioning and training.
