Weinig expands Holz-Her plant in Austria

Michael Weinig AG announced an investment of 5 million euros ($5.29 million) in Holz-Her’s production plant in Voitsberg, Austria.

"Order growth in the past two years has been enormous," Holz-Her Voitsberg CEO Harald Steiner said in a statement. "We have grown by 100 employees and sales have increased by 40 percent. We now have a higher sales level than pre-recession and, that not only makes us proud, but also convinced Weinig to invest."

Holz-Her’s product line includes edgebanders, CNC machining centers, beam saws and vertical panel saws.
