Weeke increasing its manufacturing in U.S.

Stiles Machinery Inc. says its manufacturing partner, Weeke Maschinenbau, is moving forward with plans to produce ABD drilling and dowel insertion machines at its manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Weeke ABD 050 machine will be available for delivery to U.S. customers later this year, according to Stiles.

“We are excited about manufacturing more Weeke machines here in Grand Rapids,” Stiles vice president Stephan Waltman said in a statement. “This is good news for our customers because their lead times will be significantly reduced, and it continues to be great news for the West Michigan economy.”
