Woodcraft announces that Samuel “Tres” Ross III has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer. The son of Sam Ross, who purchased the company in 1987, Tres Ross has been involved in the inner workings of the business since his youth. For the past 18 years, he has focused his efforts as Executive Director of the Ross Foundation, a private charitable organization that supports community development and educational initiatives in Wood, Ritchie, Pleasants, and Jackson counties in West Virginia.
In 2022, following his father’s passing, Tres Ross assumed co-ownership of Woodcraft alongside his brother, Spencer Ross.
“I have wanted to get more engaged with the business and decided the most effective way to do that is as CEO,” said Ross. “I can give Woodcraft the passion and vision we’ve always had in my family.”
