Tormek adds EzyLock to T-3 model

Tormek introduced the new EzyLock for its T-3 model sharpening system with the 200 mm/ 8" diameter stone.

“With the Tormek EzyLock, which is both a nut and a washer, you need no tools for mounting and dismounting the stone,” according to the company. “The special pitch on the left-hand thread causes the rotation of the wheel to tighten the nut to the right torque at the first sharpening. This development makes it very easy to change grindstones from the standard aluminum oxide to the new Japanese waterstone grit 4000, SJ-200.

“For those who already own a Tormek T-3, it is possible to purchase the upgrade kit MSK-200, which includes the EzyLock nut, stainless steel mainshaft, hardware and replacement bearings. The recommended retail price $53.99.”
