Thompson Mahogany hires two salesmen

Thompson Mahogany Co. announced the hiring of Tom Hibdon and Tim McGill as national sales executives.

Hibdon has been in the import and domestic hardwood industry for more than 28 years. His career started with his father’s company, Hibdon Hardwoods in St Louis. He then qualified as a NHLA grader and has since held management positions with Thomas and Proetz, Craig Lumber Corp, Hood Industries, Sitco and AHC Craig Imports.

McGill is a graduate of North Carolina State and has more than 20 years in import marketing for EAC Trading, DLH Trading and Inter-Continental Hardwoods

“Tim and Tom’s positions as National Sales executives when combined with other recent moves will help Thompson Mahogany to grow and prosper into the future,” East Teak Fine Hardwoods president and CEO Wayne Rogers said in a statement.
