Techniks merges with Eppinger Group

Techniks Tool Group, comprised of the Techniks and Parlec brands, has merged with the Eppinger Group, a developer of driven and static tool holders for CNC turning and milling centers, as well as precision gear and gear boxes for automation and robotic applications.

Techniks Tool Group, comprised of the Techniks and Parlec brands, has merged with the Eppinger Group, a developer of driven and static tool holders for CNC turning and milling centers, as well as precision gear and gear boxes for automation and robotic applications.

The combined businesses will be named Eppinger Technologies.

“This transaction enhances our global positioning and provides us a broader platform, expanded manufacturing and distribution channels, and a wider customer set from which to grow,” Dean Glover, CEO of Techniks Tool Group, said in a statement.

Techniks Tool Group is a provider of tool and work holding solutions primarily focused to CNC machining centers. The Eppinger Group maintains manufacturing facilities in Germany and India and has a sales and service office, branded as Exsys Automation, located in Dade City, Fla.
