Stanley Black & Decker holds new-product event in New York

Stanley Black & Decker unveiled its latest collection of new products — from its Bostitch, Porter-Cable, and Stanley brands — at a media event today in New York City.

New hand tools from Stanley include a 2x4 clamp, a 3-in-1 organizer, click-n-connect toolbox, cushion-grip screwdrivers, antivibe hammers, instant change knife, lasers, lever-lock measuring tapes, a multi-tool, handsaws and more.

Bostitch has a new 6-gallon oil-free pancake compressor, model BTFP02011, included in the launch of three new finish nailers and compressor combination kits. The unit weighs only 32 lbs., operates at 80 dBA and is designed for trim and finish applications.

Porter-Cable also has new compressor and tool combo kits, models PCFP12234 and PCFP72671, for interior finish and trim applications. These come with a C2002 compressor featuring a 6-gallon pancake design tank that delivers 2.6 standard cu. ft. per minute at 90 lbs./sq. in. and boasts a 150 psi max tank rating, according to the company. Model PCFP72671 is a one-tool finish nailer combo kit that includes a 16-gauge finish nailer, the 6-gallon compressor, a 500-pack of nails, a belt hook accessory, and a 1/4” x 25’ airline with fittings. The kit sells for $199 and the compressor alone for $169.
