Schmidt Co. turns 90

Charles G. G. Schmidt & Co. is celebrating its 90th year in the manufacturing and distribution of woodworking tools and machinery.

Started in New York City in 1926, the Schmidt Co. sells tooling for shapers, molders, tenoners, saws, routers and planers. The company is based in Montvale, N.J.

New products include insert panel raising cutters, stile and rail sets, and profiling heads for shapers.
