WGBH's Emmy-nominated series “Rough Cut: Woodworking with Tommy Mac” returns for a fourth season beginning Oct. 5 on public television.

Season 4 starts with a bright-red bent lamination chair. A full list of projects and episodes are available on Rough Cut's website at www.roughcuttv.com.

"The projects from this season are some of my favorite ones to date," Tommy MacDonald said. "From the baseball bat bed to the bent lamination chair, we really outdid ourselves this year."

MacDonald also builds a Boston Strong memory box with Boston police commissioner Ed Davis and visits the shop of Silas Kopf, a shoji workshop in Queens, N.Y., the Axis Bat Factory in Fall River, Mass., a glass-making school, and Tremont Nail in Season 4.
