Precision Drive Systems names new president

Precision Drive Systems (PDS), a provider and repairer of motor spindles, announced the promotion of Robert Turk to company president.

“All of us at PDS are pleased to welcome Robert Turk as president,” Allen Turk, the company’s founder and CEO, said in a statement. “His extensive experience in sales and marketing and deep familiarity with the company make him the natural choice to lead PDS and its customers into the next generation of spindle industry solutions.”

Robert Turk succeeds the company’s interim president, Allen Turk.

Prior to this promotion, Robert Turk served as the vice president of sales and marketing. In his new role as the president of the company, his responsibilities now include sales, marketing, financial, operational, and strategic oversight of both PDS U.S. in Bessemer City, N.C., and PDS GmbH in Herford, Germany, according to the company.
