The 2010 Woodworking Industry Conference will be held April 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey in Monterey, Calif.
The conference theme, "Forget Yesterday, It's a New Tomorrow," is designed to be a reminder that one of the keys to surviving an economic downturn is planning to best position your organization to take full advantage of the economic recovery as it begins to inevitably gain momentum.
WIC 2010 will provide several opportunities for industry leaders to acquire educational tools and new ideas for the changing business world.
The conference was expanded to include a green user forum, two end user forums, a distributor's forum, a manufacturer's forum, a public policy forum and an economic outlook forum. Also, there will be a new industry roundtable discussion and an industry "Panel of Change."
WIC is sponsored by the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers, Woodworking Machinery Industry Association, and the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America.
