New tool and cutter grinders from Vollmer

Vollmer introduces three new VGrind tool and cutter grinders based on the company’s double-spindle concept which enables precise and efficient multi-level machining of carbide tools such as drills, milling cutters, or reamers.

They include the VGrind 260, which can be configured for specific customer requirements. “Customers can choose between a direct drive or belt drive for the grinding spindles or equip the machine with a grinding wheel changer for up to eight grinding wheel sets,” the company said.

The other two models, the VGrind Neon and Argon, are two special editions focused on cost efficiency with standard configurations.
