New PRS5 CNC Machine Series from ShopBot Tools

ShopBot Tools is announcing the launch of its PRS5 line of full-size gantry CNC routers at IWF 2024, Aug. 6-9, in Atlanta.

“The three machine models that are currently a part of the PRS5 series — the PRS5 Standard, PRS5 Alpha, and PRS5 Alpha ATC — feature a streamlined, modular design that emphasizes stability and accessibility,” the company explained in a statement.

“Table sides and rails are level with the tool bed, allowing for 360-degree visibility of the cutting area and providing the convenience of loading and unloading materials from all sides of the machine.

“All three PRS5 models boast the reliability, speeds, and customer support that ShopBot has become known for in their 25-plus years of operation. These machines are available with 8”, 14” or 26” of Z travel, as well as other machine options including a vacuum hold down system, additional aluminum extrusion for adding fixtures and jigs, and ShopBot accessories like the rotary indexer (6” or 12”) and vacuum hose cradle.”
