New deep hole drill from Hoffmann Group

The Hoffmann Group has added the Steel Deep, a tool for drilling deep holes, to its Garant Master product family.

“The tool has been designed for deep hole drilling with an extremely high level of process reliability with high cutting parameters,” the company said in a statement.

“Optimized for machining steel, the deep hole drill shows its strengths without a co-pilot hole even in stainless steel and cast iron. It thereby achieves a tool life up to three times that of the current competitors.
