The model GVJ01 features an ergonomically designed barrel grip that allows close-to-work control and more precise cuts, according to the company.

Model GVJ02 features a more traditional D-Handle grip with a large two finger variable speed trigger with lock on-button for added user convenience.

“Makita has a longstanding history in the woodworking space and continues to build with the release of two new XGT Jig Saws,” said Rudy Jansen, the company’s product manager for residential construction. “These two new tools give users best-in-class performance and continues to expand the range of the 40V XGT system.”
