Makita introduces the new 18-volt LXT jig saw, model XVJ04Z, featuring a brushless motor and compact design.

“The new 18-volt LXT Lithium-ion Brushless Cordless Jig Saw is part of (Makita’s) expanding lineup of cordless woodworking tools,” product manager Rudy Jansen, said in as statement. “It is both lightweight and compact, offers orbital cutting settings, and has a Makita-built brushless motor that offers faster cutting speeds.”

Thew jig saw has three orbital settings and a straight cutting mode for use in a wide range of materials, according to the company.
