New cordless finish nailer from Porter-Cable

Porter-Cable added a 16-gauge straight finish nailer to its 20-volt Max line of cordless tools.

The tool runs on the company’s 4.0 and 1.5 Ah batteries, weighs 5.7 lbs. and can fire nails from 1” to 2-1/2” long.

“Battery-operated nailers are the natural progression of the 20-volt Max system. This new line will provide the tradesman with convenience and efficiency over pneumatic equipment,” product manger Michael Dougherty said in a statement.
