Metabo HTP presents new MultiVolt saws

Metabo HTP has added two new 18-volt tools, a reciprocating saw and jig saw, to its MultiVolt System.

Metabo HTP has added two new 18-volt tools, a reciprocating saw and jig saw, to its MultiVolt System.

The reciprocating saw, model CR18DAQ4, weighs 2.9 lbs. and measures just 13.8” from front to back, according to the company.

“The slim profile of this saw means you can use it in areas where other tools just will not fit,” the company explained in a new product release. “Its center-balance design makes one-handed use easy with less fatigue, even when you switch from an 18-volt battery the more powerful MultiVolt battery.”

The jig saw, model CJ18DAQ4, offers four speed settings and orbital action.

“The D-handle design with soft vibration reducing grip is well balanced in the hand, letting you work longer with less fatigue,” the company said.

The reciprocating saw sells for $129; the jig saw for $99.
