Makita introduces cordless circular saw

Makita released the new 18-volt LXT cordless circular saw, model XSH03M, featuring a brushless motor and 4.0AH lithium-ion battery.

“With the world’s largest 18-volt cordless tool line-up, Makita continues to develop cordless tools with more efficiency and performance, enabling users to work all day without the cord,” senior product manager Adam Livingston said in a statement. “With its more compact size, brushless motor and several other innovative features, this new 6-1/2" circular saw sets a new standard for cordless saws.”

The saw has Makita’s Automatic Speed Change Technology, which adjusts speed and torque under load for optimum cutting performance. It has a cutting capacity of 2-1/4” at 90 degrees and a bevel capacity of 0 to 50 degrees.
