Woodshop News is making final preparations for the 2011 Black Book Resource Guide. To be included, manufacturers, distributors and suppliers to the woodworking industry must either update or create a free listing by Nov. 30.

The Resource Guide will be published as a supplement to the January 2011 issue of Woodshop News, then go live on the www.woodshopnews.com website for the remainder of the year. The Black Book Resource Guide is designed to help woodworkers first identify which manufacturers are creating the tools and services they need and then to determine the best source solution for those products and services.

The online guide will be constantly updated and expanded. It is up to the manufacturers, distributors, dealers and retailers to determine just how much information buyers can find while researching products for purchase. Listings can be enhanced to include sales messages, deeper company profiles, and video and white-paper links on woodworking solutions. The enhancements are paid options, which will provide the ability to reach, communicate and potentially influence the purchasing process and generate measurable results in the form of lead generation.

To update or create a listing, visit www.woodshopnews.com/rgsignup. For information, email resourceguide@woodshopnews.com or call 800-444-7686 to speak with national sales manager Rory Beglin (Ext. 242) or national account manager Alex Robertson (Ext. 284).
