Leitz Tooling acquires Royce Pacific

Leitz Tooling Systems LP, a member of the Leitz Group, announced the purchase of Royce Pacific Precision Cutting Tools in San Bernardino, Calif.

"The purchase is a continuation of our international growth strategy and will enable Leitz to offer enhanced diamond and carbide service capabilities and additional experienced technical personnel to the market," Leitz USA CEO Mike Lind said in a statement. "This particular acquisition represents a stronger, more local approach to serving the Western region of the United States."

The company says former CEO Holger Nagel will assume the responsibilities of Western regional sales manager for Leitz to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
