Leitz invites customers to Germany

Leitz Tooling is hosting a weeklong technology tour on window and door manufacturing in Germany for its U.S. customers.

The tour is scheduled for March 13-19 and includes a two-day visit to Fensterbau Frontale, a trade show for the window and door industry, in Nuremberg, Germany. It will also visit large and small manufacturing companies and the Leitz headquarters and production center in Oberkochen.

“Circumstances have forced the European marketplace to make great progress in regard to resources and sustainability; faster than many stateside companies,” CEO for U.S. operations Mike Lind said in a statement. “This is particularly true in the window and door segments. The tour and Fensterbau Frontale are great ways to learn a lot in a short time.”
