Kreg Tool Co. entered into an exclusive distribution agreement to distribute Triton power tools, spare parts and accessories to U.S. customers, and debuted new products from both brands at IWF 2012.
“I can’t think of a better company to represent Triton in the U.S.,” Kreg global business development manager Mark Owen said in a statement. “This partnership is instrumental in supporting and driving Triton’s market growth and will allow us to create unified distribution, sales and support services for new and existing customers. The Triton range of precision tools will be complemented by Kreg’s strong customer base, knowledge and expertise and we are very excited to begin working with them.”
“Kreg and Triton have very similar yet complimentary goals for future product growth and we feel the synergy created here benefits both brands both now and into the future,” Kreg president Todd Sommerfeld said in a statement.
New products from Kreg include Automaxx clamps, the Rip-Cut circular saw guide and Kreg Jig HD, a pocket hole jig for working with 2x4s and larger stock.
Triton’s new products include an oscillating spindle sander, geared eccentric orbit sander, belt sander and palm sander.
