The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) has published a new infographic to help woodworking professionals better understand its Environmental Stewardship Program, which was developed to encourage practices that benefit both the environment and the communities served by cabinet manufacturers.

The reference sheet, designed to be displayed in shops, outlines how the program works and is intended to inspire woodworkers to approach work from a sustainability perspective.

“This handy reference spells out exactly what woodworking professionals should be looking for in the cabinets they build,” Betsy Natz, CEO of the KCMA, said in a statement.

“The infographic helps raise awareness about the importance of sustainability in design, educating woodworking professionals and their customers about practical differences between such programs as they integrate sustainable practices into their work. It’s not only a great reference; it can serve as a key selling tool with their customers on their commitment to sustainability.”
