The International Woodworking Fair announces a new online offering, the IWF Boomerang, allowing access to video archives of education sessions presented during the fair.

Aimed at veterans and displaced workers seeking to enter the wood manufacturing industry, the Boomerang Education Program allows qualified individuals access the programs free of charge for the purpose of continuing education.

“IWF is committed to investing in offering training and providing an opportunity for people to join the industry’s workforce,” Brian Donahue, IWF 2020 chairman and president of Safety Speed Mfg., said in a statement.

“It is very important that the industry invests in the workforce. The new Boomerang educational is a great new opportunity for veterans and displaced workers to learn about the trades in our industry.”

The next IWF is scheduled for Aug. 25-28, 2020, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
