ISFD extends entry deadline

The International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) is extending the entry deadline for its Innovation + Design 2022 competition and exhibition to July 10.

The juried competition is designed to acknowledge professional designers who make their own product and the next generation of serious woodworking students who are anticipating a career in the custom wood and related home furnishings industries. The competition is open to professional maker/designers and students within the continental U.S.

“The Innovation + Design 2022 competition and exhibition showcases the products and designs of the top independent furnishing’s makers in the seating, occasional tables, occasional storage, lighting, accessories, and dining room furniture categories,” John Conrad, executive director of ISFD, said in a statement. “It is an excellent opportunity for designers, makers, artisans, and students to gain career launching industry exposure as they express their creativity and imagination with innovative designs of executable home furnishings.”
