AkzoNobel, manufacturer of the Chemcraft brand of industrial wood coatings, expanded its distribution network with the addition of Wurth Baer Supply.

“We are proud to expand our finish line to include Chemcraft products. The Chemcraft brand was the right choice for us. AkzoNobel’s Chemcraft brand is synonymous with quality. They are on the cutting edge with new products,” Wurth Baer CEO Thomas J. O’Neill said in a statement.

“We at AkzoNobel are extremely proud of the relationship we have developed with the Wurth Baer group. Culturally our companies line up perfectly. Wurth Baer is an aggressive sales organization that conducts its business with the highest levels of integrity. These characteristics, along with their willingness to invest human resources as well as capital equipment to support color development in each new market, are all contributing factors to our excitement in having them join our distribution family. We look forward to expanding the relationship by helping Wurth Baer Supply grow in this newly developed key market segment,” added AkzoNobel’s Chemcraft business manager Ray Birdsall.
