Design Emphasis winners announced at IWF

From a field of 75 entries, six winners were selected in the Design Emphasis student furniture competition at the 2022 International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta.

The winners are:

Best in Show: Rebecca Juliette-Duex of Haywood Community College.

Accent Tables: Cam McGookey of Herron School of Art & Design.

Case Goods: Seth Lawrence of Appalachian State University.

Commercial/Office/Hospitality Furniture: Soojung Yoo of Art Center College of Design.

Design Creativity: Banner Knowles of Appalachian State University.

Seating: Xiaorui Yin of Art Center College of Design.
