Deadline extended for SAC’s fellowship award

The Society of Arts and Crafts extended the application deadline for its 2015 John D. Mineck Furniture Fellowship to July 1.

Mineck was a past president of SAC’s board of trustees. The foundation was created in 2007 to award charitable and educational gifts that reflect his interests and values.

The fellowship was designed to help support a talented furniture artist looking to fulfill an apprenticeship, develop his/her own skills, and/or make the transition to independence.

The fellowship awards $25,000 annually to one artist and is administered by SAC.
