Connecticut school schedules open house

The Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking in Manchester, Conn., scheduled its 15th annual open house for Sept. 12.

The open house will be combined with a hand tool event presented by Lie Nielsen.

“As always we will have the antique tools, blacksmithing and furniture making demos, and a gallery of student’s work,” school director Bob Van Dyke said in a statement.
