Connecticut Saw & Tool acquires Third Avenue Grinding Shop

Connecticut Saw & Tool of Stratford, Conn., says it finalized the acquisition of Third Avenue Grinding Shop in Brooklyn, N.Y.

“The purchase of Third Avenue Grinding Shop allows us to more efficiently manage our newly combined customer base by adding experienced local personnel in the New York City Metropolitan area,” company vice president Dan Povinelli said in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to serve this area with the high quality customer focus both companies are known for.”

Connecticut Saw & Tool is a supplier and manufacturer of cutting tools for wood, plastic, metal and composites. Third Avenue Grinding Shop was founded in 1914.
