Call for entries for 2011 Fresh Wood competition

The AWFS fair in Las Vegas has issued a call for entries for its 2011 Fresh Wood student woodworking competition. Finalists will be featured and winners will be announced July 20-23, 2011 at the AWFS fair.

The deadline for student entries is May 2, 2011. The Fresh Wood competition is free to enter for the following qualifying students:

? Full-time students in an accredited high school or post-secondary school woodworking or related industry program in North America.

? Part-time students in an accredited post-secondary school woodworking or related industry program in North America who are transitioning into a career in woodworking or design.

Post-secondary schools include colleges and universities as well as trade, art, and union apprenticeship schools.
