Cabinet sales up in April

According to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s monthly Trend of Business Survey, participating cabinet manufacturers reported an increase in cabinet sales of 6.7 percent for April 2018 compared to the same month in 2017.

Stock sales were up 13.5 percent; semi-custom sales decreased 1.2 percent; and custom sales increased 11.7 percent compared to April 2017.

Year-to-date cabinetry sales through April 2018 are up 0.9 percent, according to participating manufacturers. Stock sales are up 2.0 percent; semi-custom decreased 0.7 percent; and custom sales are up 2.9 percent.
