Cabinet sales see boost in June

June cabinet sales increased 6.1 percent compared to sales for June 2015, according to the monthly Trends of Business Survey from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association.

Stock cabinet sales increased 2.9 percent; semicustom sales increased 9.4 percent, and custom sales increased 6 percent.

The year-to-date sales show an increase of 6.6 percent with stock sales up 6.8 percent, semi-custom sales up 6 percent and custom sales up 8.8 percent.

Survey participants include stock, semicustom and custom companies whose combined sales represent approximately 70 percent of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market.
