Cabinet sales grew in 2015

Cabinet manufacturers reported sales totaling $6.5 billion for 2015, an increase of 8.5 percent compared to total sales for 2014, according to the monthly Trend of Business Survey from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association.

In 2015, sales increased by 12.3 for stock cabinets, 4.2 percent for semicustom cabinets and 13.6 for custom cabinets.

KCMA also reported that December 2015 monthly sales were up 14.8 percent compared to December 2014. Stock sales rose 19.1 percent; semi-custom sales were up 9.7 percent; and custom sales were up 20.6 percent compared to December 2014.

According to KCMA, the December gains represented 47 consecutive months of cabinet sales growth.
