The Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) is about to begin its 16th season in New York, before traveling to cities across North America and making its debut in Mumbai.
Running from Sept. 25-28 at the Village East by Angelika theater, the festival will showcase a selection of world and U.S. premieres that celebrate the global impact of architecture, design, and art. Opening night will feature the world premiere of Stardust: The Story of Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown, followed by a post-screening discussion with director Jim Venturi and architecture critic Martin Filler (The New York Review of Books).
“This year’s lineup is especially meaningful. We’ve selected films that highlight strong female voices in architecture, as well as films that address housing, gentrification, urbanism, and environmental issues. It’s a powerful testament to how film and architecture intersect to tell stories that shape our society,” said ADFF Founder and Director Kyle Bergman.
The full festival program, including the speaker lineup, detailed information about films, and ticket sales are available at adfilmfest.com.
