AkzoNobel opens new North America R&D Center

AkzoNobel has opened its new Research and Development Center in High Point, N.C., that functions as a product development facility and customer support center for the company’s wood coatings business.

“AkzoNobel’s R&D Centers are transforming the company’s investment in science and technology while giving customers direct access to sustainable product development,” the company said in a statement.

"The R&D centers have advanced equipment allowing the company to reproduce the application environment and methods for customers and ensures the products provide the intended performance once commercialized. AkzoNobel looks forward to continued growth in North America as the company advances.”
