Affinity acquires HTC and Portamate

Affinity Tool Works says it reached an agreement with tool and accessory manufacturer HTC Products Inc. to acquire the HTC and Portamate brands.

The move allows Affinity to broaden its line of tools and accessories, specifically targeted to niche markets including building and construction, do-it-yourself projects, remodeling and woodworking, according to the company.

HTC offer mobile bases, roller supports and workshop accessories. The Portamate lineup features tool and miter saw work stands, saw horses, tables, rollers and mobile bases.

Other product brands of Affinity Tool Works include Bora, Fish, Footprint, Lynx and Tormek.
