Winners of hardware design contest announced

Doug Mockett & Co. has selected three first-place entries in its annual design competition, submitted by a repeat winner and two students at Appalachian State University.

The repeat winner is Steve Goldberg, designer of a floor track wire management system that allows cables to enter and exit at various entry points along the raceway.

Industrial design students Peter Clare and Colter Swan won for a deco-inspired door handle design and shelf bracket that will fit into Mockett’s existing shelf track system, respectively.
