Virginia Tech's VT Lean Team will host its second workshop, "Why Lean Administration?," March 29-30 in the Raleigh-Durham, N.C., area.
The student-driven, faculty-supported team will share insights on how to excel in managing and organizing administrative tasks of an organization. This two-day workshop provides guidance on how to apply lean principles in administrations to create efficient and effective processes and outcomes.
Three hands-on simulation games, experienced-based exercises and presentations explaining the key concepts are part of this two-day event. They are aimed at providing attendees with hands-on experience. In addition, the workshop's keynote speaker, Cindy Swank, a widely recognized lean administration expert, will share lean administration transformation stories at insurance companies.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their business' problems and learn from a following analysis, discussion and resolution by VT Lean Team members and other participants. The workshop also offers an opportunity to network with lean experts form a wide variety of industries.
