Two industry supporters stand out in Vermont

The Vermont Wood Manufacturers Association honored David Bazis of David Bazis Designs with its Woodworker of the Year award and David Spooner of Spooner Specialties with its Friend of the Industry award.

Bazis is an instructor in the Design and Technology Education department at U-32 High School in Montpelier, Vt. “David has been instrumental in woodworking education for the next generation woodworkers in Vermont,” according to a VWMA release. “[He] has spent countless hours with his students focusing on every design and detail of their woodworking projects.”

Spooner Specialties has been working with Vermont schools for more than 30 years taking care of their needs with woodworking machinery and supplies.
