Thermwood will demonstrate its new CabinetShop 43 512-10 nested-based work cell, Cut Ready Cut Center, Cut Layer Additive system, and Model 45 5'x10' CNC at the 2024 IWF, Aug. 6-9, in Atlanta.

This is Thermwood’s 55th anniversary with IWF.

CabinetShop “is an advanced, fully-integrated nested-based CNC work cell designed to meet the needs of custom cabinet, closet and furniture builders. This complete solution includes an automatic off-load conveyor and a manual assist load system, ideal for producing custom cabinet and closet boxes, drawer boxes, doors and drawer fronts,” the company said in a statement.

“Thermwood will also be featuring the award-winning Cut Ready Cut Center at IWF 2024. This formidable system empowers cabinet shops to swiftly and effortlessly produce a wide range of products without the need for a CNC programmer. From cabinets and furniture to doors, drawers, moldings, and stair stringers, the Cut Ready Cut Center revolutionizes the manufacturing process. Simply communicate your desired product through the user-friendly touch-screen interface, and watch as the Cut Center brings it to life. Alternatively, it can be operated as a traditional CNC router, providing even greater flexibility.

“We will also be machining live on the innovative Cut Layer Additive system (a 2024 IWF Challengers Award Competitor). This powerful approach allows you to build large, near net shape additive parts, from any sheet material that can be machined. Parts are made in layers, stacked on top of one another, resulting in a hollow shell. They are cut from sheets of material and assembled, using exclusive advanced technology that allows you to create fixtures, shapes and molds extremely fast and at a much lower cost than traditional methods.

"The heavy-duty Model 45 is designed for a variety of functions, including the machining of rotary operations when equipped with our optional C-Axis. This expands the capability of this already useful machine to include volutes, carvings, chair parts, stair components and much more.”
