Subcontractors host Champions Academy

Construction subcontractors, specialty trade contractors, and suppliers will enhance their business management skills and discover their leadership potential at the American Subcontractors Association Champions Academy 2013.

The American Subcontractors Association’s Champions Academy is scheduled for Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Va., and will feature an education program designed to help association members lead their businesses and chapters to success.

The schedule includes professional education for association members’ management teams and leadership training for chapter leaders and future leaders.

Professional education workshops will focus on such business management topics as maximizing profits, improving cash flow, expediting payments and dealing with unqualified/unlicensed competitors. Leadership training will target such topics as membership development and government advocacy.
