SMA holding regional workshop in Georgia

The Stairbuilders and Manufacturers Association has scheduled a regional workshop at Stair South Inc. on Eatonton, Ga., on Feb. 16, 2018.

The workshop will include updates on codes and certifications, a shop tour of Stair South's facilities, and a visit to the Ritz Carlton to view a spiral staircase.

SMA regional workshops are one-day day events that focus on practical examination of stairbuilding issues. Breakfast and Lunch are included as well as all seminars and demonstrations. All in the industry are invited to attend.

The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) and the Stairbuilders and Manufacturers Association (SMA) announce the release of ANSI/AWI SMA 0643-2021 Wood Stair, Handrail, and Guard Systems Standard which was approved on Mar. 1 by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
