In February, Sears Trostel Lumber & Millwork will merge its retail store with its warehouse and manufacturing facility at 125 Airpark Dr. in Fort Collins, Colo.
"Merging our retail and warehouse facilities into one location will allow us to provide the same high level of customer service while reducing overall operating costs," says Sears Trostel owner Curt Viehmeyer.
"We've been in business for more than 80 years, which means we have an extremely loyal customer base. At the new store, customers can choose from many of the same moldings, lumber, plywood and high-end woodworking tools they bought at our [former] store."
The new Sears Trostel retail store will continue to carry the same product lines including Festool, Blum Hardware, Kreg, Fastcap Products, General Finishes, Amana and CMT cutting tools and Franklin Adhesives. The company also offers a 5,000-piece library of stock and custom wood moldings, hardwood and softwood lumber, plywood, and woodworking tools and supplies.
Viehmeyer said the current Sears Trostel retail store on Riverside Avenue will hold a winter sale throughout January to reduce the inventory to move to the warehouse location.
