SCM Group North America and Delmac join forces

The Delmac Machinery Group, based in Greensboro, N.C., will be merged into SCM Group North America, effective April 4.

Delmac had been operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of SCM Group of Rimini, Italy, since its purchase in 2006.

"By combining our resources, we are able to deliver better coverage to the U.S., Canadian and Mexican markets while strengthening the technical knowledge of both companies" said John Gangone, general manager of SCM Group North America, in a news release.

John Park, previously the general manager of Delmac, will be the executive vice president of sales. "A company's service and reputation is built by its employees. The employees of both SCM and Delmac are what have made us successful and together we will continue to provide excellent products, service and support for our existing customers and future customers. This merger will allow us to continue to provide cutting-edge technology while improving our response time to the sales and service needs of our customers," he said.
