The Florida School of Woodwork is accepting applications from aspiring women woodworkers for its Tabitha Babbitt Scholarship.

The scholarship is open to women and those who identify as female both nationally and internationally and is part of the school’s ongoing efforts to increase diversification in the craft.

“Recent fundraising efforts by the school and the collective efforts of the woodworking community, including companies such as Lost Art Press, Benchcrafted.com, Strazza Furniture and Infinity Tools, raised enough money to fund seven scholarships to week-long classes,” the school said in a statement.

The entry deadline is Feb 28.
