Plastics and plastic fabrication will return as a focus of the 2017 AWFS fair, which is scheduled for July 22-25 in Las Vegas.
“In 2015, AWFS began a focused effort of giving buyers a road map as a means of locating these products on the show floor much easier than they have in the past. It worked out very well for both exhibitors and attendees and, as a result, this program has been expanded for 2017,” trade show chairman Rob Howell said in a statement.
The program includes a two-part seminar series in the fair’s College of Woodworking Knowledge educational program; a SMART session hosted by Stiles Machinery on “Minimizing handwork with producing plastic parts,” and a presentation by Michael Fabbri of King Plastic on current plastic materials, applications and tooling for woodworking businesses.
